Seward High School serves just shy of 500 students in grades 9-12. Our school offers a diverse curriculum, including: art, business education, computer education, language arts, sciences, social studies, foreign languages (Spanish), health, family and consumer sciences, industrial technology, mathematics, vocal and instrumental music, physical education, agriculture education, special education, and high ability learner education. Advanced placement courses are offered in various curricular areas.
The high school employs 38 teachers with an average of 18 years of experience. Seventy percent of our high school teachers have earned Master's Degrees.
The activities program for high school students include: football, volleyball, golf, basketball, wrestling, soccer, track, cross country, softball and baseball. Clubs and other activity groups include: FFA, FCCLA, FBLA, Key Club, Speech and Drama, Skills USA, drill and dance teams, and several vocal and instrumental music groups.
Original construction of the current facility was in 1962 with additions in 1980, 1990, 1996, & 2002.
