How to read your child's NWEA/MAP Testing Progress Report
At the end of each of our testing sessions, students in grades 2-11 receive their results from the NWEA/MAP tests. This report (similar to the one pictured) is usually sent home to parents, but it can be confusing to decipher.
We have created an annotated sample report page for you to use in making sense of your own child's information. You can download that sample report by clicking here.
Within the sample report, there are several links that you may click on to receive additional information. There is also a link that will take you to one of our web pages that lists activities, organized by RIT score range, that your child may work on to improve their skills in reading and mathematics. You may also find that page by clicking here.
If you have other questions, you can find additional information within the "For Parents" section of our school website under the submenu "Testing Information" and the heading "Map Testing". Please feel free to call your child's school and we would be glad to help explain the report.
Thank you for your interest and in partnering with us to help your child grow!
