SHS honored at NEBRASKAland Statehood Day

SHS students who won First Place Awards at the State Fair Education Division Competition were honored and recognized at the annual NEBRASKAland Foundation's Statehood Day on March 2,2018vie! Seward High was named Grand Champion in the overall Sweepstakes Award and named top participating Ne High School at the event! Accepting the award for SHS was FR Bailey Mooney, Stacey Damenhoury, Makayla Oglevie and BR LR Thomas Bosmeniel, Jarod Harris and Senator Mark Kolterman. The sponsor was SHS educator Kyle Hinkel! Thomas Bosmeniel also addressed the group on the value of the NE State Fair Education program and it's impact from the student' perspective! The students met with Senator Kolterman following the event!
