Nathan Snavely Named April Fine Arts Youth of the Month

SHS Senior, Nathan Snavely was selected the April Fine Arts Youth of the Month.  He is very active in the SHS Swing/Show Choir-all four years of high school, a member of the SHS Choir for three years and assisted and was part of the SHS musicals for four years.  He also presented at the State Capitol for the Nebraska Fine Arts School of the Year award presentation, as SHS showcased various Musical/Fine Arts presentations from Seward High.  He studied vocal performance at SHS for one year and was a two year SHS Swing Choir camp volunteer.

Nathan is a three year member of the SHS Marching Band and participated in the SHS Jazz band as well for three years. 

He participated in the VFW Voice of Democracy Speech contest at SHS.  His Advanced Placement classes include AP Literature and also AP Environmental Science.  

Nathan plans to attend Southeast Community College (SCC) in Lincoln in the area of culinary arts and has been accepted into their program.
